![]() Also check out LOOT it's a mod load order tool. The only diffrence is I use Fallout Mod Manager instead of the NMM. I'm using both nexus and bethesda they are both working ok for me. also take off the steam overlay option, in your library settings. I ususally tend to run games without the vsync on as well you'll get a boost from that. (im not using any texture mods just scripting/armor/weapons/faction/radio mods, oh, and some quest mods). I'm running it at 1080p on a gtx 960 settings on high and getting a decent 50 - 55 FPS with that enb boost mod. I ended up slightly bringing down some settings for a performance boost. Just need to find the right balance for your visuals and FPS to work out proper. Also the object distance is hard on your card as well. Your in game shadow settings also taxes your video card, so if your running shadows on ultra, bring it down a notch. I am starting to consider uninstalling the game and completely deleting all files and starting a fresh however i dont want to do that as i'd loose my save that ive put many hours into.Īny information needed let me know and i will provide. This is game breaking for me as dropping to such low frame rates (10-20fps) is making a large portion of the game currently impossible to play. however i remember before installing any mods hitting 50 fps in boston on the settings i am currently running. I disabled all the mods and still have the problem. Outside of boston im hitting 60fps but when i look in certain directions i drop to 45 fps. However i did disable three other texture mods by other authors called:įrom lack of experience i am unsure if just disabling the mod in nexus removes it from the game all together? but i dont see how rocks trees and a landscape texture overhaul could cause such problem in a built up city like boston. (All installments of) GraFix texture overhaul The texture mods i use for the environment are. I do run texture overhaul mods and they could be overlapping and causing problems. Looking on the link provided below you can see when I enter Boston in particular the textures of the buildings start to glitch/overlap? Im not 100% sure what the correct termonology would be to describe it but as i pivot/move my character the move also and sort of overlap each other as i previously said.Įvidence of texture overlapping in boston. I am running a load of mods (around 50+) and am experiencing slight problems with textures. Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10240), 64-bit Im playing on my 9 month old PC which has decent specs. I am totaly hooked and am back to enjoying the game in a whole different experience! I recently started donwloading mods via nexus mod manager for Fallout 4. Sigh.Hey guys first time really posting for help in a forum so be easy on me. ![]() Played Skyrim a few weeks ago with the same setup, never had an issue with flickering there. I am using an NVidia GeForce GTX 760 and various mods, but the flickering has been there from the start before I even installed the first mod. Already used all the tweaks you described. Try turning down the grass fade level as well if nothing else works. ![]() This flickering happened to me in Skyrim because of the DSR + Antialiasing. ![]() When DSR is turned on, you do not need to have antialiasing turned on. LASTLY, if you are using a 900 series Nvidia GPU, go into the Nvidia 3D settings and make sure you dont have the DSR turned on. IF you are using a Sweet FX mod, keep in mind that Fallout 4 just got a new patch recently which means you may need to uninstall/reinstall the mod (look for updates as well). I do not know if this program works for AMD cards or not. It may also be that you need to do a clean uninstall/reinstall of your GPU driver using the DDU program. If so, try turning it off and see if this helps. For those of you who dont have mods installed and still are experiencing this, go in the advanced graphics settings and see if TAA is turned on.
